Master of Ministry vs. Master of Divinity

While a Master of Arts in Chruch Ministries is an excellent option for students already engaged in full-time ministry, a Master of Divinity degree is much more in-depth.

The primary difference lies in the MDiv’s language requirement, including Greek and Hebrew along with extensive biblical studies.

Can I Get a Master of Divinity Online?

Our Master of Divinity degree can be earned online as long as at least three courses are completed either on campus or via video conferencing.

While most distance students take their courses via video conference (usually one night per week), others visit the campus for intensive week-long studies during the summer.

Can I Transfer Credit Towards An MDiv Degree?

An accredited institution can transfer up to 42 semester hours (or 63 quarter hours) of previous coursework into the BMA Master of Divinity program.
