Free Online Course Registration Form

The free fall course offered by BMATS “How to Study the Bible” taught by Professor Dr. Greg Parsons will begin September 30 – November 22. This 8–week online course will emphasize inductive Bible study principles in order to study the Bible for oneself. Included is how to interpret the text according to the Biblical and historical-cultural contexts. The main textbook authored by former BMATS professor Dr. Joe Pendleton, The Joy of Bible Study, has been reprinted by our Baptist Publishing House and offered as a free pdf. Besides participating for free, the student may take the course for credit with a tuition charge. The former option will allow learning by doing as much or as little as one has time. The latter will require full participation of a normal course, such as quizzes, homework and reading one or two additional textbooks. Details will be available at a later time.
