Bachelor of Arts in Religion – Online + 1 Week of Discipleship

A fully online degree, the BAR is a two-year degree that builds on the foundation of an Associate of Arts degree or its equivalent. It supplements and strengthens the broad liberal arts foundation received in associate studies by exploring and understanding the biblical text, theological ideas, church leadership, and Christian discipleship. The BAR allows students the freedom to specialize in different fields of study that may be particularly useful or interesting. The BAR is a foundation for a lifetime of ministry. Lay a foundation, wherever God has placed you.
Courses for the BAR are online. Most online courses allow you to do the work at a time that is best for you. Your best study time is 10 p.m.? 5 a.m.? We can work with that. In some courses, such as Greek Grammar or Biblical Discipleship, you meet with your professors via live online video at specific times. These are for important concepts that can only be learned through direct, face-to-face interaction.
One summer come to the Seminary campus for a week of intense discipleship and practical ministry preparation. There are vital ministry skills that can only be learned by working side-by-side, practicing and doing things together. One week, one summer. It’s the only time you have to leave home!
