![]() CORRESPONDENCE COURSE INSTRUCTIONS Students
should complete lessons weekly. Your name must be on each lesson that you
return to the Dean’s Office. Lessons
may be mailed in weekly or in groups of no larger than four lessons per class at a time. Lessons
are to be mailed to: OFFICE OF THE DEAN If you
are on campus you may also bring the lessons to the Dean’s Office or drop them
in the “OFFICE” box in the main
hallway. Please do not put them in
the Professor’s mailbox. The
lesson will be graded, the grade recorded and then returned to the student.
These will either be mailed to you or put in your campus mailbox in the Gregson
Center. On
receipt of the last lesson, the final exam will be sent. Instructions for
completion of the final exam will accompany it. Each
course should be completed before or
during the scheduled week of finals for the appropriate spring or fall
semester. For January and summer correspondence classes a course should be
completed before the first day of classes for the new semester. Courses not
completed by the deadline will automatically receive an “F” for the semester. A
fee, as stated in the catalog, will be required to complete the course by the
end of the next session of courses. Correspondence courses demand self-discipline. Students need to pace themselves in such a manner that courses will be completed by the end of the semester or session in which they have enrolled. For example, half of the course requirements should be turned in by the middle of the semester, etc. Students are responsible for contacting and discussing with instructors any questions or concerns they may have regarding the timely completion of course requirements. |
